2 Silver Communicator Awards Won By SmartSites’ Brochure Design & Website Respectively

The SmartSites team is thrilled to learn that one of our website redesign projects (SmartSites, Award Winning Digital Marketing Agency) and B2B brochure design (SmartSites, Think Web. Think Smart.) have won two silver awards of distinction in the 25th Annual Communicator Awards! Founded by communication professionals over a decade ago, the Communicator Awards is a renowned international awards program that honors creative excellence for communication professionals.

About the Communicator Awards

Recognized as a leading international awards program, the Communicator Awards was founded nearly three decades ago. The awards program receives over 6,000 entries from marketing and communications agencies and companies of all sizes, effortlessly making it one of the largest awards of its kind in the world. In 2019, the Communicator Awards is entering its 25th season and has introduced various new categories, including Social, Branded Entertainment, and Digital. The update was designed to recognize cutting-edge techniques being utilized throughout the industry.

It is important to note that the Communicator Awards honors work that transcends craft and innovation. The work, however, needs to have the potential to make a lasting impact. Participants have a higher chance of taking home a Communicator award if their designs capture the hearts of their audiences. The Award of Excellence is Communicator’s highest honor and is typically given to entrants who have the ability to articulate their unique and creative vision well. In addition, winners will be showcased in the Interactive Winners Gallery.

For SmartSites, we have won the Award of Distinction for two projects: brochure design and website design respectively. Our team is delighted that our projects have exceeded industry standards in terms of achievement and quality.

The Judging Process

The Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts (AIVA) hand-picks all winners for The Communicator Awards. AIVA is an invitation-only group that’s comprised of top-tier professionals from acclaimed marketing, creative, advertising, communications, and media agencies. Executives from The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Sotheby’s Institute of Art, Disney, MTV Networks, and Wired are some of the AIVA members.

When it comes to determining Distinction winners, the entries are judged based on a standard of excellence in communications and marketing, as well as quality of craft. In addition, all entries are scored on a 100 point scale. Distinction Winners must achieve a score of 70 to 89.

The Prestigious Communicator Statuette
