Working at a pizzeria. Were we allowed to have free pizza at each shift? Yes. Did I absolutely take advantage of this? Also, yes.
Here We Are – Notes for Living on Planet Earth.
The kind that teach me something new!
GOOGLE! I could spend all day googling things and not run out of stuff I’m curious about. On the other hand, I’d probably get a lot more sleep if Google didn’t exist.
The dreaded dial-up sound and not being able to use the internet and the phone at the same time! That honestly feels like a past life.
I have a pretty international background – Puerto Rican mom, American dad, Filipina step-mom, British step-dad, Brazilian husband, a son with American & Brazilian citizenship…that was born in France. This has taught me that there’s no such thing as “normal” and that everything is relative. As a result, I’ve also learned to communicate with all different types of people and how to come up with creative, out-of-the-box solutions.
My son, Emilio. There’s no feeling like looking into the cutest little baby’s eyes (ok, I might be slightly biased but trust me, he’s really cute) and seeing a world of possibility in them.
Anyone who knows me knows that I am just not a pet kind of person, but my mom lives on a farm and has a donkey, Violeta. Does that count?
Portugal. Seafood, olives, beach, and nice weather. That’s what dreams are made of!
Tanzania! Totally different than anywhere else I’ve ever been.
